Our Story
Amanda Klein Knafo — Founder, Tiny's Oats
I'm Amanda Klein Knafo — a mom, wellness advocate, and lifelong lover of baking and wholesome foods that nourish both body and soul.
Tiny's Oats is named after my dad, Harris, whose nickname was Tiny. He was my best friend, and as a restaurant owner, so many of my childhood memories with him revolve around food. After losing him at 19, I began a long path of healing that eventually transformed my relationship with food, wellness, and self-care.
As I became more mindful about what I was putting into my body, I started creating healthier versions of the baked goods I loved — organic, vegan, gluten-free recipes made with simple, nourishing ingredients, all centered around one of my favorite foods: oats. What began in my kitchen soon became Tiny's Oats.
Today, Tiny's Oats is more than just food. What started as a dream of oat-based baked goods grew into something I never expected: a lifestyle brand rooted in wellness, intentional living, motherhood, mental health, and finding comfort in the small rituals and shared experiences that connect us all.
I'm not a nutritionist or a doctor. I'm just a mom who reads labels, cares deeply about what goes in and on our bodies, and believes wellness doesn't have to be perfect or complicated — it just has to be intentional.
Welcome to Tiny's Oats. I'm so glad you're here.
— Amanda
Harris Klein was known to everyone who loved him as Tiny. He was a man with an enormous heart, and a childlike spirit — the kind of person who made everyone feel at ease just by being in his presence. An entrepreneur and restaurant owner, he loved food, people, and the simple joys in life.
After a lifelong battle with depression, his life was cut far too short. Tiny's Oats was created by his daughter in his memory — to carry on his spirit through nourishment, connection, and helping others.
A portion of future profits from Tiny's Oats will be donated to mental health nonprofit organizations in his honor.
What We Believe
Never processed, nothing artificial. No seed oils, no natural flavors — just real, organic, whole ingredients you can actually read on a label.
Oats are naturally gluten-free, and we keep them that way — carefully sourced and handled to protect those who need it most.
Wellness isn't a checklist. It's a practice — slow, imperfect, and deeply personal. We're here for the whole journey.
A portion of future profits will support mental health nonprofits. Healing the body and healing the mind go hand in hand.
This is not a brand that broadcasts. It's a space for honest conversation — between mothers, healers, and anyone who is still figuring it out.
The Mission
"Nourishment isn't just what you eat. It's how you rest, how you speak to yourself, how you show up for the people you love — and how you let them show up for you."
Tiny's Oats exists to help people live well, eat well, and feel less alone. We're building a community around honest wellness — one that makes space for grief, for imperfection, and for the tiny moments that hold everything together.
